What is restaurant week? It is a once-a-year dining event where a group of local restaurants coordinate to offer a special menu for a special price. This price is usually lower than the price you’d ordinarily pay at the restaurant.
Each participating restaurant offers a three-course menu for a published prix-fixe amount (either $26 or $31, depending on which restaurant you choose.) If you’d like to preview your dining options, go online: menus for each restaurant are posted on the event website.
This is a great time for customers to try restaurants they’ve been curious about without much risk to their wallet. No coupons needed!
If you haven’t made reservations yet, we urge you to claim your tables quickly. We’re told that some restaurants are already close to sold out for peak dining times. Prefer to play it loose? Walk-ins are welcome, space permitted. Note: if you want to try to walk in without a reservation, you’ll probably have better luck dining early or late.
Staunton’s Second Annual Restaurant Week runs March 19-25, 2012. Not all restaurants are open every day, please check restaurant websites for hours. When paying your check, please keep in mind that drinks, tax, and tips are not included. To learn more, see our Tips for Restaurant Week.
Staunton Restaurant Week is supported by The Hook, the Staunton Downtown Development Association, and the Staunton Convention and Visitors Bureau.
